How to leave MicNest and keep your podcast where it is

MicNest pulls your episodes from RSS, YouTube, Spotify or Apple Podcasts, so your podcast lives with your host, not MicNest. PodRewind reads the same RSS feed, and the switch is mostly about keeping what MicNest wrote for you.

What you own

MicNest’s terms (section 2) say the episodes, transcripts, artwork, show notes and guest information you provide remain yours (micnest.ai).

Getting your content out of MicNest

MicNest publishes no export guide. Ask their support for a copy of what you need before you cancel; here is a message you can send.

Hi, I am planning to cancel MicNest. Please send me an export of the blog posts, newsletters, guest pages and transcripts generated for my show, and tell me what happens to my site and subdomain after I cancel.
  1. MicNest’s pricing page says you can change or cancel anytime from Billing. (MicNest help)

Bringing your show into PodRewind

  1. 1. Start at podrewind.com/onboard

Search for your show by name or paste the RSS feed URL your host gives podcast apps. No audio files are uploaded.

  2. 2. Let the episodes transcribe

PodRewind reads episodes from the feed and transcribes them with timestamps and named speakers. Free covers 5 episodes per feed; Creator or Pro covers the full back catalog (PodRewind pricing).

  3. 3. Open your archive

Episodes publish to yourshow.podrewind.com with a page per episode and a single search box across every transcript. On the Pro plan, the archive can live on your own domain.

What carries over

  • Episodes, titles and artwork, read from your RSS feed.
  • Transcripts are written fresh by PodRewind with named speakers. MicNest’s blog posts, newsletters and guest pages do not carry over.
  • Your newsletter subscribers stay with whatever MicNest gives you in an export; PodRewind does not send newsletters.

Before you cancel

  • Ask MicNest support for an export of generated posts and newsletter lists.
  • Save any blog posts you want to republish elsewhere.
  • Add your feed to PodRewind and check the archive before switching links.
  • If your domain points at MicNest, plan the DNS change; on PodRewind, your own domain is a Pro feature.

Questions answered

Does MicNest host my podcast?

MicNest pulls episodes from your RSS feed or other platforms, so your host keeps the audio and feed.

Can I export my MicNest content?

MicNest does not publish an export guide. Its terms say your content remains yours, so ask support for a copy.

Will PodRewind write blog posts like MicNest?

PodRewind publishes episode pages with full transcripts. On the Creator and Pro plans it drafts show notes and social posts, but it does not run a blog or newsletter for you.
