Wavve review (): what it does, who it’s for, what it costs

Wavve makes branded waveform videos from podcast audio, with captions for sound-off viewing, and a Wavve.Link page for the show. Plans are priced by the minutes of video you make. It suits shows that post a waveform clip per episode.

What Wavve is

Plans run from Free and Creator through Influencer and Agency to Network, and annual billing lowers each monthly price. Because every tier is a monthly allowance of video minutes, a show that posts one short clip per episode can stay on a lower tier, while daily posting pushes toward Agency or Network (get.wavve.co).

Wavve takes common audio files, including MP3, M4A and WAV, and turns them into "Wavve videos": an animated waveform over your design, with captions and a progress timer (get.wavve.co).

The videos are sized for social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. Wavve also gives the podcast a Wavve.Link landing page.

How you get in: Self-serve with a free plan; no trial terms are stated on its podcaster pricing page.

Pricing

Wavve publishes Free at $0, Creator at $12.99 monthly or $10.99 annually, Influencer at $19.99 or $16.99, Agency at $32.99 or $27.99, and Network at $59.99 or $49.99, checked September 27, 2026 (get.wavve.co).

Free includes two video minutes a month with Wavve branding (get.wavve.co); no trial terms are stated.

What it does well

  • Simple pricing unit. Each plan is a monthly number of video minutes, so cost maps directly to output.
  • Built for audio. Nothing needs to be filmed.
  • A wide plan ladder, from Free through Creator, Influencer and Agency to Network, for solo shows up to networks.

Limitations we could verify

  • Free includes two video minutes a month with Wavve branding (get.wavve.co).
  • A searchable transcript archive is not confirmed on its pages.
  • Generated visuals are not confirmed; the format centers on the waveform.

A searchable transcript archive and generated visuals are not confirmed on its pages.

Who should pick it

  • You want a branded waveform video for each episode and a simple monthly minute budget.
  • You run several shows and need agency or network plans.

Who should look elsewhere

  • You want the words on screen to carry the clip rather than a waveform.
  • You want your transcripts to become something listeners can search.

How PodRewind differs

PodRewind drops the waveform and puts the words first: word-by-word captions over your artwork or a template, in a vertical video made from an audio-only episode. It comes with Pro, and the same transcripts power a public, searchable archive of the show.
